  love should be given freely, as you say 'without being in the inhibition of getting anything in return' ...I agree with you.
  as long as love is true, there should be no problems, no matter distance, age, etc.

  Lauren i think ive found someboby who thinks the way i think. I believe you are motivated a lot by the indian culture and ethos. and i believe you are studiying our culture more than we are doing in india. are you an architect by any chance..........

    khandu, thanks for your comments, and yes, I am motivated, intrigued, enveloped by your culture, and also Thai buddhism and asia/far-east in general.
    I am not an architect, but it was a key part of my study years ago! I now adore architecture, though not professionally, and it's amazing you mentioned that, because the arts and architecture are a part of me indeed.

    Hi,
    Yes, in England there are religious places for every denomination, with hindu temples being plentiful, buddhist monasteries less so at the moment.
    I have visited them, yes, and feel something magical, as with all religious places of worship, and wish to learn more of course.
